Who am I

My name is Stan. I am a developer based in Norway who builds software and takes it all the way to production.

15+ Years Building Systems That Last

I’ve spent 15+ years building and leading full-stack systems, from a banking ad platform integrated across a dozen enterprise systems, to a large-scale microservices backend serving hundreds of thousands of customers. Currently a Tech Lead at a security-tech company, owning delivery, cross-team API decisions, and technical debt strategy at scale

What I Focus On

Full-stack development (.NET, Angular/React, Node.js, Python), cloud and on-prem infrastructure, DevOps automation, and microservices architecture. I’ve also led platform migrations to Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code, and set up and run engineering teams across multiple countries.

Keep It Simple

My principle, in one phrase: keep it simple. Complexity is the default failure mode in software, in architecture, in process, in leadership. My job is finding the smaller, sturdier version of whatever's in front of me. It's also why the site and brand are named what they are.
